This is a small, quick sketch I did. Sloppy, but I liked the design, so I colored it and tossed it up here. I see it as some kind of construction mech which was modified to meet baseline combat capabilities.

Nice. I like the junior mobile suit feel that this design has. It also works well in that it's clearly not a dedicated combat design, and so it feels a bit "kitbashed," which gives you the feeling that taking this thing into a actual firefight is perhaps riskier than one might like.

Hey, thanks for the cogent commentary. I was inspired by some drawings I saw of early Votoms ATs... like pre-pre-Scopedog designs. Construction/industrial units do seem like a logical starting point for what eventually becomes a military design.
