I am glad someone other than myself thinks the placement of the Aerospace Boosters on the outer edge of the shoulders are... not wise.
As an armchair aeronotical dabler, and originally not seeing any boster parts for my VF-19 (Macross 7) model kits, I was going to 'kitbash" something along this line...
Though will have to save money to attempt to get kits again to make my own varient again.
It is not logical to have the boosters as the 'cannon' has it, for too many issues happen when you need to fly & use the hands in Battriod mode. not to say anything about GERWALK mode (unless the arms are kept in the stowed possion).
I have posted edited line-art of the kitbash idea I have for the Macross 7 kits.
Although, my coloring attempt I feel bombed.
